Hello Reader!

It's officially October, and it's officially in the busiest season of the year for my website! πŸ’ƒπŸ»

For many food bloggers like myself, the next three months are jam-packed, traffic-wise, and I am so excited for it all.

You can expect more comfort food recipes in the coming months, some tried-and-true holiday recipes and cookies. (Because I love a cookie and also because I run a cookie collaboration every year during the week after Thanksgiving.)

Before we get too deep into October and fall- and holiday-related dishes, I wanted to share some of the top posts and details from September. Since y'all, like me, seem to like these recaps.

September is my birthday month, and it's the birthday month of one of my daughters, so it's always fun to celebrate.

How did September treat you? What are you looking forward to about October?

Erin

Recipes and Posts Published in September

I published these four new recipes and updated countless other posts to freshen them up for the fall and upcoming holiday season.

  1. Brown Sugar Simple Syrup
  2. Lemon Garlic Chicken
  3. Caramel Apple Cheesecake Dip
  4. Cajun Spice Pretzels

"These are delicious! I make them constantly and have for a couple of years now - there is always a large jar in my house. I always make a double batch! My family, friends, and neighbors love them! I also mix them into my Christmas snack Mix."

October Happenings...

  • It's pumpkin season! My girls and I have been rotating batches of these muffins and this bread every week to serve as easy breakfasts that they'll actually eat before school.
  • Looking for all the fall flavors? Check out my Fall Recipes landing page, which has every single fall-flavored recipe I have ever shared.
  • Did you know that October 12 is National Gumbo Day? Learn everything you need to know beforehand by reading Gumbo 101, which includes the history of the dish, as well as our family's gumbo recipes, roux and more.

Howdy! I'm Erin.
